In honor of our anniversary we went out to eat at La Rustica, it is a small unassuming place conveniently located not far from our home. The outdoor patio abounds with bright bursts of springtime color as the menu transports you to another time and place. The courses come out as swiftly as the warm, freshly baked "fingers" of bread and the dishware is a charming assortment of this and that. This place is the perfect combination of hospitality (the kind of place where the owner gets his hands dirty and clears your plates) and culinary delights.
