You are a gem

Due to time constraints, and snow oftentimes we only hike to Snow Lake. When we are able to continue onto Gem Lake it is all the more spectacular. The entire day the temperature hovered around eighty degrees and there was typically no one else in sight.

I loved the reflection of the sky in Gem Lake.

I loved the splashes of fall color along the path.

I loved the endless vistas.

I loved having one more day to wear shorts.

I loved spending the day with this handsome man.

I loved the flowers.

I loved the trees.

I loved the lakes.

I loved discovering this new little lake.

I loved seeing this familiar lake with new eyes.

I loved finding good camping spots.

I loved sitting lakeside and watching the clouds roll by.

I loved the constantly changing light.

I loved witnessing all of God's creations.

I loved the uninterrupted time to talk.

I loved wanting to be nowhere else.

I loved the day and feel lucky to have experienced such beauty.
