Point Defiance Park
We typically do not spend a whole lot of time down south, but lately we have found ourselves at Point Defiance Park more than usual. We love this expansive park with not only a zoo but an aquarium, lots of beach access, and walking trails galore. Jasper loves riding his bike along the water and finding the largest leaves he can possibly find. A couple weeks ago we spotted a humpback whale frolicking off the shore and most recently we spotted a group of seals swimming together.
Creating a rainbow at the beach. If you just take a few moments to look it is jaw dropping to see how much color dots our shores.
On our most recent visit we checked out the new Pacific Seas Aquarium and Jasper was thrilled to see hammerhead sharks and a sea turtle. Other highlights included the walruses, the arctic foxes and being able to touch a stingray and a baby shark. As a family we are always looking for fun things to do combined with ample time spent outdoors and Point Defiance Park is a great place to do just that.
