Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

What do a ferry ride, a change of scenery and an ice cream cone have in common? They are all the perfect trappings for a fun Saturday. When we don’t have anything in particular planned and want to head somewhere fun we hop on the ferry to Southworth and make our way to Port Ludlow for a picnic lunch and then into Port Townsend for some window shopping and waterfront hangouts. And why even bother to visit Port Townsend without a stop at Elevated ice cream?!
