A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Our son, Asher Charles

A year ago today, we simultaneously welcomed our son and said goodbye to him. While most parents triumphantly celebrate surviving their first year of parenthood, we are equally celebrating surviving our first year without the one we love.

The cake I made for the gender reveal party we hosted last Summer. A little tidbit, he was the first grandson for my parents after six grand daughters. Everyone was over the moon, especially us!

Whenever I hear someone is pregnant, I immediately think how sacred an experience it is to hold your child for the first time. When the first time is your last time, this moment is forever engrained on your soul. I would give anything to go back in time and hold my son for another minute or two. Over the past year there were many days I thought my heart would literally break. Despite all odds, this has not occurred and for that reason alone there is much cause for celebration!

We are looking forward to a long weekend of remembering and honoring our son, Asher. Whenever I hear someone speak his name, it makes my heart flutter. His name is my favorite word in the entire world. Asher means happy, blessed, fortunate or lucky. As his parents, we consider ourselves all these things and much, much more.

Happy weekend
