A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

My blue period

My blue period

Over the past month I have been experiencing a period I like to call my "blue period". Picasso had a blue period, so maybe I am channeling my inner artist. This might not seem noteworthy, but I am typically a girl who is drawn to coral, pinks, and reds. From what I wear to the fabrics I have chosen for my upcoming quilt, time and time again over the past month I seem to be drawn to blues. Chambray, denim, navy, pinstripe, I have been having fun with this tonal selection of hues.

My friend and I are working on a fun little project consisting of the following items below. The tricky part is we do not live in the same state anymore, so we are having fun keeping the post office in business while making the miles seem less far away. I am looking forward to sharing our project in the next couple of months.

How about you, have you ever woken up one day suddenly drawn to a new color? Are you the type of person who always needs a project going on?
