A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

After our camping adventure we decided to be spontaneous and instead of going home we took a little detour to the Washington State Fair. There is something so fun about throwing caution to the wind and heading out for more fun instead of going home to unpack and get ready for the upcoming week. Jasper is in a big corn on the cob phase right now, so dinner consisted mainly of that. However, he did try a rib, cornbread, Dole Whip, and scone to name a few.

The rides were equal parts thrilling, fun, scary and overwhelming for all of us. So many people and so many sights and sounds.

It was no surprise that just like last year the semi trucks and the cars were at the top of his list. On the carousel, which I would consider one of the most mellow rides he hung onto me for dear life the entire time. I am trying to soak up every moment where he needs me these days because I realize one day I will blink and I will no longer be in such high demand.

And what is a visit to the fair without a scone? A wasted visit in my opinion.
